Flash ActionScript

PaintbrushFlash ActionScript is an excellent starting point for students to learn about Object Oriented Programming. It’s combination of coding and visual elements give students the opportunity to learn important programming concepts. Over time, students work together in groups to develop games of their own from start to finish, utilizing skills from the fundamentals, digital graphics, and multimedia portions of the curriculum to create an interactive action game with a storyline, graphics, and user interface of their own design.

The progression of game development is illustrated in 8 steps. Click the thumbnail image below to learn about the process of programming a game.
